Albin Memorial Garden Remembrance Service – 2020 Update

By 9th November 2020 No Comments

Dear All,

With the country going into a second lockdown we would firstly like to assure you that the Annual Memorial Garden service will continue as planned and will be hosted online on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 at 7pm. The pre-recorded service will be available to access via the Albins website and Facebook page.

We had planned to open the garden every evening from Monday 23rd and Tuesday 30th November however with the lockdown currently in place we feel it appropriate to postpone this until after the service and lockdown. We will of course update you on this nearer the time.

We wish to inform you that the stars are now available to you all just as you enter the garden in the toilet block next to where the candles are situated. I have included a couple of pictures of the area, there will be a box of stars and pens to write them and then a tube to drop them in. Our staff will then arrange to place them on the tree and this will be included as part of the pre-recorded service.

If you are unable to visit the Garden to write your stars or are in isolation please email your message to stars@albins.co.uk.

A member of our staff will then write your message on the star which will then placed on the tree. Please kindly keep the message to a maximum of 20 words.

There will also be some stars available in all our branches.

Stay safe!

Kind regards

Simon, Jon and the Albins family
