ALBINS DIARY – SEPTEMBER 2015

By 3rd September 2015 No Comments

Dear All,

How time flies! Summer is almost over and  Autumn will soon be upon us.

We have been conscious that our website needed to be refreshed since it first went live some five years ago. Having reviewed the layout and contents we have recently refreshed the site and hope that you find it an improvement on the old one. We do monitor our traffic and have been interested to note that more and more of you are accessing the site through mobile devices.

We are pleased with the new design and the way it is set out and we hope that you will find it easier to navigate using your mobiles and tablets. We have included a permanent tribute to Barry under “Albins History”. There you will find a copy of our tributes to Dad and the orders of service. We will also post a short video of the funeral when it is complete.

We have just completed a much needed upgrade to the raised lawn area in our memorial garden. The area looks much nicer now. We have replaced the lawn and created a more substantial area to enable families to scatter the ashes of their loved ones.

We were very privileged to have been asked by Cilla Black’s sons to assist in her repatriation from Spain and caring for her prior to the funeral which took place in Liverpool on 20 August. We are very proud to have been involved in her funeral arrangements.

Kind regards to you all

Simon, Jon & all of our families.
