Abseil for Charity

31.03.2011

Albin Staff Raise Money for The Evelina Trust

On Saturday 19th March 2011 Jon Dyer, Greg Mancini and Alan Baulch took part in an abseil for charity. The abseil was from Guys Hospital Tower. The height of the building is 500ft and is the highest civilian abseil possible in the UK.

The weather was perfect for the event as is evident from the photos. It was an experience we would not forget.

All money raised went to the Ronald Macdonald House, The Evelina Trust. The charity provides accommodation for the parents and any siblings of children that are being treated in hospital. Families do not have to pay to stay at the House. Once a room has been allocated parents can stay as long as their child is receiving treatment at the Evelina Children's Hospital.

Thank you to all those that sponsored us and by doing so assisted the charity with the fantastic support that they offer families.

Greg
