Barry Albin
Barry Albin Dyer is one of those rare people who was born to do just what he is doing. He started at the age of seven helping in his father's business, attended the Polytechnic of London, now Westminster University, to study business and studied the funeral service in America, where he is still greatly respected. He has travelled much of the world giving lectures on the British funeral industry.

Barry is well known for his numerous television, radio and newspaper interviews and is a member of the FFMA, NAFD, SAIF and FIAT/IFTA. He is the UK's representative on the world governing body FIAT/IFTA, where last year, he received a lifetime achievement award in funeral directing, previously only given to one or two people.

He is a presiding Magistrate, (Justice of the Peace) and is a trustee to many charities. His two sons, Simon and Jonathan, have followed him into the the business.

Barry has also written his memoirs in the book -
"Don't Drop the Coffin", which includes from graveside punch-ups and gangland-style funerals to the sci-fi mysteries of cryonic suspension.  To purchase a copy from Amazon, click on the book cover.
