ALBINS DIARY – OCTOBER 2015

By 7th October 2015 No Comments

Hello everyone

First and foremost we would like to remind you that the Christmas Service will be held on Wednesday 2nd December this year so please make a note for your diaries. This service will be very poignant indeed. Very sadly for everyone this is the first year that Dad will be absent.

The Memorial Garden is a very special place and provides comfort for so many families. We have recently repainted the render and are planning to improve the decking area around the pond as it is in need of replacement. The existing decking will therefore be removed and replaced with a nicer paved finish.

The work will commence on 12th October and is expected to take two weeks to complete. During this period all memorials that are affected will be moved to the lawn area so you will be able to place flowers in memory of your loved ones as normal.

Due to demand additional granite niches are to be created alongside those that already exist facing the park. The existing lavender bushes are to be removed and will be replaced by smaller hedging plants. This work will be carried out at the same time to minimise the impact to all those who visit the garden

We reported last month that the F A Albin website had been upgraded. This month the Albin International website will also be relaunched. We are very pleased with the improvement to the presentation of the company that the new website will bring.

Kind regards to you all
