It is with very much sadness that we have to inform you that Maureen Barker passed away peacefully on New Years’ Eve aged 70.
Maureen developed complications following a severe asthma attack she suffered before Christmas. Sadly she never recovered.
Maureen joined Albins in 1998. She worked in the accounts department and as many of you will know she was also very much involved in developing the Memorial Garden since it first opened in 1999. Her contribution to its success has been immense. She will be sorely missed.
Maureen’s family are devastated by their sudden loss. Her husband Cliff, three sons, James, Lee and Paul were at her bedside. Maureen was blessed with five devoted grandchildren.
You will all appreciate that this is a very difficult time for Maureen’s family and all the staff at Albins.
