Hello again,

December was such a hectic time that I’ve decided to combine my news for December & January.

Firstly, may I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year?

I would like to thank everybody who attended our Christmas service. It was wonderful and just to let you know that we have already fixed a date for this year’s service which will be held on Wednesday 6th December at 7pm – so fill your diaries in early!

May I also thank everybody for their Christmas cards and good wishes, which of course I return?

I want to extend a warm welcome to ex Squadron Leader Robert Rowntree MBE, who joins us to work with our International Department and I know he will be a great asset to us all.

We were pleased to raise  £1297.09 at the Memorial Service, for The Evelina Children’s Hospital Appeal and there will be more to follow. It is a wonderful charity and I hope you will help me to continue to support it.

If you want more information or want to make a donation, please visit www.evelinaappeal.org

I am pleased to say that the new grandchildren Jon Barry & Harry Alfred have already made occasional visits to the business (we start them young here at Albins! – You’re never too old or too young to learn)

The doves continue to flourish in their dovecote and the fish are now breeding in their new home.

Our new fleet of Daimlers continues to progress and the first three will arrive in May, followed by the second three in July.

To remind everybody again, I am hosting a Convention for FIAT/IFTA in London 2-4 June. Information can be found at www.ifta2006.com

Also to remind you that my new book ‘Strong Shoulders’ is now on sale through good bookshops, through The Southwark News or here at Albins.

We are now all back to work and progressing through a busy January.

I look forward to speaking to you again next month

Best wishes
