Barry's News Page
It is now mid-February and early spring is drawn into a false sense of
security. Even the doves are producing eggs and as I look across the
Memorial Garden, it is a beautiful sunny afternoon.
At
the Camberwell cemetery, I noticed that the blossom on the trees are
budding, yet I know that winter still remains hanging over us like a
Sword of Damocles.
We are about to
install some new lamp posts in our garden to lighten up even the
darkest nights.
I have already
started to plan the 2008 Christmas Memorial Service and have to say
that we have just come to the quietening down of one of the busiest
periods I have ever known in our industry.
I am shortly to
take a trip to both Kuwait and Iraq in the preparation of our MOD
work.
I am pleased to
say that in a few weeks time, we will receive our new community
mini-bus which will have full disabled facilities on board, something
I am sure will be of great benefit to our clients and the community.
We are pleased to
bring into our ranks our new apprentice John Whitney who shows great
promise.
As they say on
Looney Tunes………………….. That’s all for now folks!
