ALBINS DIARY – APRIL 2016

By 12th April 2016 No Comments

Hello everyone

We hope that you all enjoyed the Easter break.

The memorial in memory of Dad is due to be erected later this month in our garden of remembrance. It will represent a truly fitting tribute to him. It is so comforting to know that he is laying at peace with his mother, father and Nan and also Fred and Peggy Albin. Albins owes so much to Dad, Grandad and Fred and would certainly not be in the position it is now without their significant contributions over the years.

As you are all aware Dad sadly passed away on 6th June 2015. In recognition of the first anniversary of his passing we would like to inform you that a service in memory of Dad will take place on 25th June at St James Church, Thurland Rd, Bermondsey, London, SE16 4AA at 11am. Details will be provided nearer the time.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff who have shown kindness, professionalism and have worked tirelessly as a fantastic team to enable us to get through such a difficult period. We receive many kind letters from our customers relating to the service we provide. Every letter is very much appreciated and is read to all staff at our Friday breakfast meeting.   Acknowledgement of everyone’s contribution is invaluable and truly acknowledges the goodness of what we do.

The work to the pond in our memorial garden has now been completed. We experienced very little disruption and would thank all those who visit the garden for their patience during the two week period during which the works were carried out.

Kind regards to you all

Simon, Jon & all of our families
